Treatment

SAVING THE LIVES OF THE PETS WE LOVE.

Dr. Sullivan pioneered cutting-edge pet cancer protocols after collaborating with a physician at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. Dr. Sullivan’s treatment can basically be described as bone marrow transplant for dogs.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

All the stem cells are harvested from a dog’s bloodstream using the Optia form Caridian BCT, which is similar to a dialysis machine. The dog undergoes total body irradiation without the stem cells to kill any remaining tumors. The harvested stem cells are then re-infused into the dog so a new immune system can develop and save the dog’s life.
